In the best weather conditions, the city was bathed in a Christmas sea of lights on 24 November 2022, punctually at 18:00. Like Lucy on Bahnhofstrasse, the lanterns of our association shone around Bellevue, along Theaterstrasse and on Stadelhoferplatz. At the same time, the annual Night Shopping took place, accompanied by various activities and concerts on Bahnhofstrasse and Stadelhoferplatz. The Wienachtsdorf on Sechseläutenplatz is open daily until and including 23 December 2022. Mon.-Sat. 11:00 to 22:00, Sun. 11:00 to 20:00.

Celebrate the turn of the year in Zurich and experience the breathtaking fireworks and the unique atmosphere around the Zurich lake basin on New Year's Eve.

Especially on weekends, our neighbourhood is heavily frequented at night. This has its side effects as these pictures from Sunday morning, 12.06.2022 prove. The board is in contact with the city police and ERZ (Entsorgung und Recycling Zürich) to find solutions.

Under the motto "Opera for All" or "Ballet for All", the Zurich Opera House broadcasts an annual performance live on the big screen and transforms the Sechseläutenplatz into an open-air parquet.

Culture lovers got their money's worth twice this year. On Friday, 10.06.2022, Harald Schmidt started with "Volksfreundlichen Amuse-Bouche", followed by a recording of "Der fliegende Holländer". On Saturday, 11.06.2022, Kurt Aeschbacher and Tama Vakeesan hosted the evening. Christian Spuck's ballet "Sleeping Beauty" went across the screen as a live broadcast.
