lm Sinne unserer guten Nachbarschaft informieren wir Sie im Namen der Genossenschaft Migros Zürich über unser geplantes Bauprojekt am Stadelhoferplatz und an der Ecke Theater-iFalkenstrasse.

Vom Montag, 18. Mai bis zum Mittwoch, 05. August sanieren die Vekehrsbetriebe Stadt Zürich (VBZ) Tramschienen in der Kurve an der Stadelhoferstrasse zwischen Stadelhoferplatz und Bahnhof Stadelhofen. Die Schienen sind stark abgefahren und müssen ersetzt werden.

From 25 September, films will be celebrated at Bellevue. The Zurich Film Festival is opening its doors again and will be showing films in Zurich until 5 October. The centre of the festival is Bellevue with its iconic pavilion on Sechseläutenplatz. International stars, world premieres and film fans will be bringing our neighbourhood to life during this time.

After a long construction period, the architecturally outstanding Haus zum Falken was completed this summer, enhancing Stadelhoferplatz and Stadelhofen station.

Wo viele Trams fahren, werden Gleise abgenutzt. Darum baut die VBZ diesen Herbst am Stadelhoferplatz. Am ersten Septemberwochenende kam es nach einigen Wochen Vorarbeit zum Höhepunkt auf der Baustelle: Die alten Gleise wurden durch neue ersetzt. Die Baustelle wird uns indes noch eine Weile erhalten bleiben. Am 1. November werden die Gleise fertig saniert und die Ecke Theaterstrasse, Gottfried-Keller- und Goethestrasse wieder für alle Passant*innen frei begehbar sein. Es bleibt die eindrücklichen Geschehnisse auf der Baustelle zu verfolgen.

The 20th Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) is celebrating a historic milestone: with 140,000 visitors, the festival has set a new record and cemented its reputation as the second-largest film festival in the German-speaking world.

From 21 to 29 September 2024, the aforementioned sporting event with international appeal took place in Zurich. A highlight for cyclists and cycling fans. Around 900'000 visitors made their way to Zurich and the surrounding area to watch the event live, while millions of viewers are likely to have followed the races on television.

From 28 to 30 June 2024, the federal traditional costume festival took place in Zurich every 12 years. During this time, traditional groups in their traditional costumes characterised the streetscape. There were 4 festival sites and 7 open stages for performances between the main railway station and Secheläutenplatz. There were 7,500 active participants and over 100,000 visitors travelled to the city on the Limmat.

The total renovation and modernisation of the property at Theaterstrasse 12 (better known as Globus am Bellevue) is in full swing and the scaffolding has recently been removed. The redesigned façade fits in well with the townscape and is immediately more pleasing to the eye than the old building. The Globus is scheduled to reopen in November 2024, and we are looking forward to it. The total of 6,000 m2 of lettable space for retail, catering and offices has already been let.

The construction of the new Haus zum Falken at Stadelhofen railway station is progressing according to plan. The pictures show that construction is currently at ground floor level. This means that the completion of the building planned for 2025 is realistic.
