Bellevue Stadelhofen

Our district has experienced a marked upswing of late

The redevelopment of the Sechseläutenplatz with a fine natural stone surface made of Vals quartzite has received extensive approval. It lends the neighbourhood new vibrancy as a centre for young and old, for locals and tourists, for the staging of events, and for relaxing. In addition to the promenade beside Lake Zurich, which has long been popular and lively, the district attracts a diverse group of visitors every day. An increased frequency of train connections has also made Stadelhofen station an important transport node. Outside shop opening hours, life in the neighbourhood has also become livelier. The new Calatrava building that is planned and an extended S-Bahn station are sure to stimulate the location even further.

The association represents the interests of the residents, businesses and property owners in our locality in Zurich: As a place to live and as a centre for shopping, services, entertainment, the arts and culture. We make your concerns heard by the authorities and take the initiative when it comes to solving problems and tackling future projects; true to the principle that with shared aims we can make it possible to enhance the district for everyone. We are striving constantly to make the neighbourhood more attractive – such as hanging out the Christmas lights in our three city squares or by setting up sunshades in the Sechseläutenplatz.
