Am 15. März 2024 startete die Familie Knie zusammen mit einer internationalen Artistencrew in die neue Saison und besucht 23 Orte in der ganzen Schweiz. Traditionsgemäss gastiert der National Circus Knie im Mai (vom 9. Mai bis 9. Juni 2024) auf dem Sechseläutenplatz in Zürich.

On 15 March 2024, the Knie family and an international crew of artists kicked off the new season, visiting 23 venues throughout Switzerland. Traditionally, the National Circus Knie makes a guest appearance in May (from 9 May to 9 June 2024) at Sechseläutenplatz in Zurich.

Da steht er, der Ausserrhoder-Böögg, und meint: ich lasse mich doch nicht von den Zürchern anzünden! Die Zürcher finden das „ausserrhodentlich“. Es zeichnet sich ab, dass der Böögg in den Gastkanton Appenzell Ausserrhoden reisen wird, um dort verbrannt zu werden.

Das Zürcher Epizentrum der Adventszeit liegt unumstritten in unserem schönen Quartier. Am Donnerstag, 23. November 2023 öffnete das festliche und schmucke Wienachtsdorf auf dem Sechseläutenplatz seine Pforten. Bei besten Witterungsbedingungen fand das Spektakel bereits am ersten Tag einen grossen Zulauf an Gästen.

As every year, Circus Knie enchanted thousands of children and adults with its programme in 2023. With its "little circus town", it brought some magic to Bellevue.

Once again this year, many opera lovers treated themselves to a unique experience. A wonderful performance of George Bizet's masterpiece Carmen with an exquisite cast broadcast live from the opera house.

While the children's parade took place in continuous rain on Sunday, the procession of the guilds and the celebration on Sechseläutenplatz were accompanied by sunshine on Monday.
