Five years ago it was held for the first time, the Christmas market on Sechseläutenplatz. Around 200 stalls are set up there each Advent season. Because the city is obliged to re-approve the Christmas markets every five years, a new tender was recently issued.

The business partners Vania Kukleta and Katja Weber, who conceived the “Wienachtsdorf” at the time, are also the new operators. The market “convinces with its focus on local products, is sustainable, solidly financed and professionally organised”, according to a statement by the city. The variety of changing exhibitors and the supporting programme are also convincing. We are looking forward to the next five years!
