The Zurich Film Festival is taking place and will be the first major cultural event after the Lockdown. We look forward to welcoming you at the ZFF and to diving into new film worlds with you.

Please note the currently valid measures that will be additionally implemented this year. We are closely monitoring the current situation and will adjust the concept on an ongoing basis.

Hygiene:

Sufficient disinfectant dispensers will be placed in each festival location.

Keep distance:

Please keep the minimum distance of 1.5 metres from other people wherever possible. When entering the cinema buildings, please take your seats quickly to avoid crowds in the foyers. In the cinema hall, one seat remains free between each group of visitors.

Masks compulsory (from 12 years):

as soon as you enter a cinema building and are not in a seat, you are required to wear a mask. The mask can be removed in the seat, but we recommend that you also wear a mask during the film screening.

Contact Tracing:

A valid and verified contact must be provided with each ticket purchase. As a matter of principle, tickets are only sold at the counter upon presentation of a valid identification document. We also recommend using the SwissCovid app.

Online Ticketing:

We recommend buying tickets online to keep contact points to a minimum. It also facilitates data collection. If online purchase is not possible for you, there will still be physical points of sale. However, as contact details are taken by hand, there may be longer waiting times.

Cashless payment:

To reduce contact points, we are switching to a cashless payment system at all points of sale (ticketing, shop, bar, etc.).

Abstaining from parties:

We refrain from hosting parties, especially after the Award Night and Opening Night.

Disease symptoms:

We must ask you to refrain from visiting ZFF if you have symptoms that indicate Covid-19 disease.

    From 25 September, films will be celebrated at Bellevue. The Zurich Film Festival is opening its doors again and will be showing films in Zurich until 5 October. The centre of the festival is Bellevue with its iconic pavilion on Sechseläutenplatz. International stars, world premieres and film fans will be bringing our neighbourhood to life during this time.
