In the foyer of the Opera House you can look forward to Christmas again this year with our Musical Advent Calendar. From 1 to 23 December, small concerts will take place every day at 5.3O p.m. with free admission to brighten up your Christmas season.
Musicians from the Philharmonia Zurich and singers from the Opera House, the International Opera Studio and the Zurich Opera Choir have come up with an atmospheric programme. Come along, pause for a moment in the Christmas hustle and bustle and let the day come to a musical close. The short concert programmes last fifteen minutes and will be announced on the same day on our Facebook page and here.
It is also a wonderful opportunity for children from the age of 5 to make their first contact with classical music and to experience its full range.

Vom Montag, 18. Mai bis zum Mittwoch, 05. August sanieren die Vekehrsbetriebe Stadt Zürich (VBZ) Tramschienen in der Kurve an der Stadelhoferstrasse zwischen Stadelhoferplatz und Bahnhof Stadelhofen. Die Schienen sind stark abgefahren und müssen ersetzt werden.
From 25 September, films will be celebrated at Bellevue. The Zurich Film Festival is opening its doors again and will be showing films in Zurich until 5 October. The centre of the festival is Bellevue with its iconic pavilion on Sechseläutenplatz. International stars, world premieres and film fans will be bringing our neighbourhood to life during this time.
